Program Philosophy

At Fort Riley Middle School, our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and competitive environment where young athletes can learn and develop their basketball skills and character. We are dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of the game while emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship. We aim to prepare our players for success on and off the court, fostering a lifelong love for the sport and a strong sense of community.

The basketball team will begin with tryouts and practice in mid-October and the season will end on the last game of the season in mid-December.  Our basketball team will play in up to 16 games throughout the season.  Fort Riley Middle School is a member of the North Central Kansas Junior League with the majority our schedule made up of playing member schools.
