Conferences are next week! If you do not know what time your’s is scheduled for please contact your students Trooper Time Teacher.

Looking Ahead

The weekly Agenda is a projection of what will be accomplished in every class but could be subject to change depending on the needs of the students.

American History (Engel) –

Monday: Close out the Civil War
Tuesday: Lincoln’s assassination. Start investigating who was involved.
Wednesday: Lincoln’s assassination continued. Decide guilt and innocence of those involved.

English (Mr. Banks)-Language Arts will be reading Part 2a and 2b of Flowers for Algernon, with all of Part Two due at the beginning of the hour Wednesday. We will be working on the first two sections of Part Three for the rest of the week.

Math (Ms. Elliott)-

Math: Monday finish Parallel Lines/Transversals and then review. Tuesday: Quiz over Rules of Transformations and Parallel Lines/Transversals. Wednesday: City Designer Project using Parallel Lines/Transversals.

Co-taught Math (Ms. Chou/Mrs. Story) –

Monday: Inv. 3.2/3.3: Translations and Rotations on a Coordinate Plane

HW: Translations on Coordinate Planes (Due Tues)

Tues: Inv. 3.3 Finish Rotations on Coordinate Planes and Review

HW: Front side of Inv. 3 Study Guide (due Wed)

Wed: Inv. 3 Quiz Part 1

HW: None

Foundational Math (Mrs. Story)-

Slope Activities

Algebra (Ms. Waugh) –

Students will continue learning about quadratic functions. There will be a quiz on Tuesday.

Science (Mrs. Miller/Mrs. Goodson) –

Monday/Tuesday: Human Genetics and Genetic Technology

Wednesday: Enrollment

General Team Reminders

Students should not be bringing slime to school. Students should also not have rubix cubes in the classrooms.Students may have a healthy snack 2nd or 3rd hour. This does not include candy or chips. And needs to be individual in size.

Candy should not be eaten in the classroom unless given to by an adult. Mints are included in this.

Starter expectations for all core classes are the same. Students are to come into the classroom, sit in their assigned seat, and complete the starter activity at a level 0.

Students were given a morning pass for before school help, it is on a lavender card.

Please help remind students to bring their materials to school.

Students need to replace school supplies through the year as they are used up. We have nearly gone through our supply of pencils and highlighters for them to borrow.
