Looking Ahead
American History
We are heading into war. We will begin the election of Lincoln and Ft. Sumter. We will then take a deep look at both the North and the South with advantages and disadvantages. We will make comparisons to the Revolutionary War. Our One Pager assessment has been moved to Tuesday.
EnglishNext week we are starting a new unit. Students will be reading a few short non-fictions texts and there will be some in class activities. There should be no homework unless the work doesn’t get finished in class.
Math
Tuesday – Review Rules of Exponents and scientific notation
Wednesday – One-Pager Project
Thursday-Friday – Quiz
Algebra (Ms. Waugh) –
Students will investigate exponential functions, including the behavior of graphs, ways to represent exponential functions, and exponential growth and decay.
Science
Tuesday – Read 2-Voice Poems and turn in all work – Review for test
Wednesday – Chapter 2 Test over lessons 1-2 – Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration
Thursday-Friday – Begin chapter 3 on Genetics
